Karen is known for her interesting, unique and intriguing quilts.  She now has turned her unique talent for creating to fabric designing. 

She has joined the Troy Corporation to design fabric collections for their RIVERWOODS COLLECTIONS.  Below are Karen's newest fabric designs.

 

 

Midnight Blue

Midnight Blue is a collection by Karen Combs, inspired by her love for pure colors, rich, saturated colors and timeless textures.  This collection features airy floral, saturated stripes, lovely swirls, a mesmerizing star burst, a "goes with anything" mini dot and a beautiful basic texture.  Colors include rich indigo, sky blue, icy light blue, and sunny yellow.

SERENDIPITY

SERENDIPITY is a collection by Karen Combs, inspired by her love for color gradations, beautiful textures and lovely colors.  This collection features 22 colorways, that gradate from light to dark and back to light.

Each value is 14", allowing for multiple cuts. Some of the colors include rich sapphire blue, pumpkin, meadow, sage, olive, lapis, onyx, amber and petal.

Knick-Knack

Knick-Knack is a fun, yet elegant collection by Karen. Inspired by her love of black and white fabrics, she has added a fun twist by including colorways of red with white and black and robin egg's blue with black and white.  In addition, Karen created a beautiful black and white border stripe as well as a red and white border stripe.

Java Jewels batiks

 

Java Jewels was inspired by Karen's love of natural and landscape textures.Collection has 30 SKUs and includes sprays, stripes, mini dots, lines, ripples, basket weave, mum, foliage and brick textures.  Colors include clear, vivid colors of olive, tangerine, denim, teal, evergreen, purple, violet, pewter, amber and gold, again, inspired by colors in nature

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nuance

 

Nuance is an elegant print collection by Karen Combs.  Classic textures and lovely colors are included in this collection.  Inspired by visits to Italy and England, Nuance has just a touch of gold for an elegant surprise.  Sapphire blues, amber golds, sky blues, grass green are just some of the colors that can mix and match together.
